A Good Day

is one in which I don't cry
is sunny and bright
is spending time running errands with Donaldo
is looking forward to something
is doing something creative
is a day when my self-talk is good
is going for a walk
is a good night's sleep the night before
is a good book to read.......
So far, so good!

there's so much I want to tell you about what I have learned over the years, but unfortunately it's something that you have to experience for yourself and learn how to cope with in your own time and own coping methods. This isn't to sound judgemental or anything, but I have found the best way to get out of a funk is to force your mind off thinking about yourself. Think about anything else, most importantly God and his blessings over your day, your week, your life and try to praise Him even when you are crying, it helps bring joy from sorrow. It also helps to do something, anything physical outside, even if it is raking the yard a bit, pulling a few weeds, walking to the back of the yard and back. That really helps. Also knitting or doing something repetitive has helped me, it calms the left side of the brain and releases tension. I am knitting washcloths like crazy right now! Love, me
