Has it been that long? August is the last time I wrote on my blog?? Well here I am, the summer is over, and so is fall and believe it or not Christmas is over and we are into a new year. The time just flew by and yesterday was my half-birthday. We always celebrate half-birthdays in our family.
I could really write a long blog and tell you every thing that happened since August, but that might be a bit challenging for a first blog in five months.
Suffice it to say, I had a good Christmas, but I am glad it is over. Now I am packing for a trip to Florida; leaving Saturday morning for two weeks. We are going back in March for the month. It will be great to leave this frozen tundra for some warmer weather. It has been downright cold in the mitten and most of the United States for that matter. We had -15 lows with wind chills hovering abound -30 and -40. We also have nearly a foot of snow on the ground. Donaldo has cabin fever and went out to run some errands.
I am almost packed and looking forward to Naples. We were there for a day once, but have never stayed there. I have heard it is beautiful.
